Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has set a record in its non-oil exports during 11 months of 2021, according to published report by Al-Eqtisadiah, as it achieved a growth of 32.1% compared to the same period form previous year, as it reached SAR 244.95 billion, compared to SAR 185.4 billion, with SAR 59.54 billion difference, the paper said. The paper added that the highest monthly export growth in the history of the Saudi economy was in November, after reaching SAR 25.98 billion. The paper further added that the highest value of annual exports was achieved in 2018 with more than SAR 235 billion, which was exceeded in 2021 after it reached SAR 244.95 billion in just 11 months. The paper concluded that the average monthly non-oil exports during the period from 2015 to November 2021 grew by 30% to reach SAR 17.8 billion, compared to the average export for the period from 2008 to 2014 which amounted to SAR 13.7 billion.
