Pakistan has strongly condemned the Houthi militia's launching of a ballistic missile towards Riyadh, to target the civilians and civilian infrastructure. In a statement issued today, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that the successful interception of the ballistic missile by the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces has prevented the loss of innocent lives. The statement said that such attacks not only violate the international law but also threaten the peace and security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region, adding that Pakistan calls for the immediate cessation of these attacks. Pakistan reaffirmed its full support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any threat to its security and territorial integrity.
