Education Minister Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh today met with Chairman of the Italian Thought and Research Center Marco Minniti and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both sides went over the partnership between Saudi universities and the center to enhance scientific and research fields, boost joint training opportunities to transfer international expertise and experiments, in addition to enhancing scholarships that the center offers to talented Saudi students to pursue their MA degrees in Italy. The meeting also discussed the possibility to establish an Arab studies institute at Med-Or, which is the first of its kind institute in Italy that is interested in launching diversified initiatives in the cultural, research and scientific training, and represents a new and unique entity and a bridge for thoughts, programs and projects to prosper in cooperation with research academic institutions, in addition to its being a station to enhance comprehensive integration between the industrial and research fields.
