Council of Economic and Development Affairs held a meeting today, Tuesday, via video conference. During the meeting, the Council reviewed a number of economic and development issues, including the report submitted by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Economy and Planning regarding the latest health and economic developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), and the economic quarterly report submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning regarding the most important economic developments at the local and international levels. The National Center for Performance Measurement submitted a report regarding the performance of government agencies, which included an analysis of the results of the performance indicators of public agencies, an analysis of the results of the initiatives of public agencies, and the results of the most relevant international indicators. The Council also discussed the report submitted by the Ministry of Finance regarding the state's general budget for the fiscal year 2022. Accordingly, the Council has taken the necessary recommendations on these issues.
