The Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) signed a Reinforced Partnership Program with the European Patent Office (EPO), during the virtual meeting held today, within the framework of the memorandum of understanding in the field of intellectual property signed between the two sides. The reinforced partnership positively reflects on the Kingdom in terms of achieving alignment and integration in patent procedures between the two sides, and raise the level of quality and reliability of examination reports issued by the SAIP, which contributes to improving value and satisfaction among customers and rights holders. It is worth noting that the signing of the reinforced partnership makes the Kingdom the 10th partner with the European Patent Office, which will develop registration processes of the patent applications in the Kingdom.
