The United States of America recorded, in the past 24 hours, 89,711 new infections and 1,604 deaths as a result of the novel coronavirus. According to statistics published by the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of the virus infections reached 46,358,362, while the number of deaths jumped to 751,535.
