UAE Announces 1,988 New COVID-19 Cases

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), in a statement on Wednesday, announced 1,988 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 618,148, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
MoHAP also announced six deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,773.
The ministry noted that an additional 1,922 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 597,008.
