The Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation and King Abdulaziz University signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at King Abdulaziz Airport in the presence of President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej and President of King Abdulaziz University Dr. Abdulrahman bin Obaid Al-Youbi. The memorandum activates means of cooperation in all fields and is a way to benefit from partnerships and alliances to develop the outputs of the two sides, establish a research center specialized in the fields of air transport and aviation sciences, and develop joint programs aimed at developing and qualifying national cadres.
For his part, President of GACA Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej said that the signing of the MoU between King Abdulaziz University and the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation emanates from the commitment to achieve more cooperation with academic institutions and the aviation sector, where research and development are the cornerstones of building the future of the aviation industry.
