Egypt reported 1,090 new cases of novel coronavirus and 60 deaths during the past 24 hours. The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population stated that the total number of confirmed-lab cases reached 231,803, of which 173,341 have recovered, while the deaths tally reached 13,591.
