Efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for upgrading the frequency spectrum for mobile services and stimulating investment, in the wireless infrastructure that worth SR40 billion, throughout the last three years, have contributed to put the Kingdom among the 10 best nations, all over the world, in terms of the Internet speed, via mobile networks. The Kingdom is also ranked the second, among the G20 member states, in providing the public with the frequency spectrum for mobile communications' services. For years, the Kingdom has been among those entertain the least ranking, in the world, in the speed of the Internet. It is noteworthy, that the Kingdom ranking in 2017 was the 105th, worldwide, as the speed was less than 7 megabyte per second. Of course that was not suiting neither the value nor the regionally as well as the worldwide roles played by the Kingdom.
