The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has finalized financial assistance procedures to 8 social, development and education projects in a number of member states. OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen underlined the organization's ongoing assistance to member states through its Islamic Solidarity Fund (ISF), a solidarity organ of the OIC catering for emergency, education, health and social sectors in the member states. The Secretary General voiced appreciation for the ISF's swift response to the needs of the member states and its humanitarian, educational, health and social assistance, calling for more solidarity to support the needy Islamic countries within the Jeddah-based OIC.
