Saudi Press: Ministry of Interior Calls All to Adhere to Precautionary Measures

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia adopts and harnesses all its human, material and diplomatic capabilities in order to highlight the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations on the regional and international arenas in an effort to find the most appropriate solutions for them.
Saudi Arabia's leaderships, since the era of the late founder King Abdulaziz and until this prosperous era, have always promoted joint Arab action. As a major country in the region, Saudi Arabia has assumed the task of leading the march of Arab and Islamic action at a time that witnesses many political and economic fluctuations, the newspaper said.
In this regard, the newspaper pointed to the Arab League's granting of the Arab Development Action Shield for the year 2021 to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, in recognition of the his tremendous efforts aiming to advance the Arab and Islamic nations.
The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always exerted tremendous efforts to defend the Palestinian cause. Saudi Arabia has supported charitable and Islamic organizations and societies, as it has also established the Muslim World League, the paper added.
In the same context, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has established and carried unlimited relief campaigns to many other Arab and Islamic peoples, in order to alleviate their sufferings, the newspaper concluded.
In another context, Al-Yaum and Al-Bilad newspapers reported in their editorials that the since the beginning of the novel Coronavirus pandemic, the sustained efforts and unlimited care made by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, and those preventive measures have resulted in reducing the numbers of new cases and increasing the recovered cases, as well as the availability of the vaccine for all citizens and residents.
The newspapers pointed to the Ministry of Interior statement that it has been decided not to extend the precautionary measures which had previously set to suspend all entertainment activities and events, closing cinemas and indoor entertainment centers as well as independent indoor games' venues, or those in restaurants and shopping centers and the like, gyms and sports centers, internal ordering services in restaurants and cafes and the like.
The Ministry of Interior stressed the need for everyone to adhere to a number of measures, including the continued distribution of prayers at funerals in cemeteries at all times of the day, and not to be complacent in the application of precautionary measures and protocols approved for all activities, so as to preserve the public health of society and protect the gains achieved during the last period at all levels.
The newspapers concluded that these aforementioned data reflect the extent of the efforts that were made until the current gains were achieved. All must assume responsibility and adhere to the precautionary measures in the current stage.
