Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 Aims to Achieve Welfare and Quality of Life for Citizens

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 aims to upgrade and prompt everything that contribute to achieving the welfare and the quality of life for citizens.
Such priorities are being support by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and HRH the Crown Prince, the paper added.
In this regard, the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Pension Agency (PPA), Mohammad Al-Jadaan, said in his statement during the inauguration of Meethaq platform and electronic services for subscribers that PPA seeks through the Meethaq platform and electronic services for subscribers to provide electronic services to government agencies, which are consistent with the ambitious vision towards the expanding in modern using of technology and digital transformation, the paper further added.
Minister Al-Jadaan confirmed that this platform is a new achievement that reflects the wise leadership's keenness to activate innovative digital solutions and upgrade the quality of electronic services being provided for citizens, the paper concluded.
Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was one of the most interested countries in the field of protecting intellectual property rights (IPRs), especially in light of the series of special domestic legislations that it had adopted and applied in the past years.
IPRs protection in Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the general development strategy and the economic growth that are being achieved on the basis its vision 2030, the paper added.
For more than a decade, Saudi Arabia has spread culture of intellectual protection on ethical and economic grounds, as all these achievements have led Saudi Arabia to rank the 24th place in the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Index, according to the Digital Competitiveness Report for 2020, advancing 20 places for the year 2018, as it was ranked 44th on this index, the paper concluded.
