The Secretary General of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO) Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Tuwaijri has described the terrorist Houthi militia's launch of drones and a ballistic missile towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to target civilians as a violation of international conventions and the rules of international humanitarian law stipulated in 1949 Geneva Conventions and their 1977 Additional Protocols. In a statement issued by the organization today, the Secretary General condemned the repeated targeting of civilian areas in Saudi Arabia, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities in the face of these repeated attacks, to ensure that they are prevented, and to stop the perpetrators of those terrorist acts against humanity.
