Health Minister launches a vaccination campaign against Coronavirus, free of charge for citizens and residents

The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, launched a vaccination campaign against COVID-19 at the coronavirus vaccination centers in Riyadh today.
The campaign began with the Minister of Health taking the vaccine, along with members of scientific committees of vaccinations and a group of citizens.
Dr.Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said that today marks the beginning of relief from the Coronavirus crisis. On this occasion, the Minister extends his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his sponsorship of the most extensive vaccination campaign in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his concern for the health of citizens and residents. The Minster also extends his thanks, gratitude, and appreciation to HRH Crown Prince for his keenness and careful follow-up of this crisis, before any case arises in the Kingdom, and his keenness to apply highest precautionary measures to ensure the safety of everyone.
The Minister of Health stated that he had been following with great concern, during the past nine months, the numbers of Coronavirus infections, and today he will follow with great happiness the numbers of those who receive the vaccine.
The Minister thanked all scientific committees and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority for their efforts to protect everyone's health and ensure the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health had previously announced the start of registering citizens and residents for free COVID-19 vaccine via "Sehaty" App, effective from December 15, 2020, through the following link: http://onelink.to/yjc3nj.
The Ministry of Health stated that it had completed all preparations to start vaccination, as it confirmed the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine and free access to all citizens and residents to implement the leadership's directives.
