King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated today a project to distribute 300 tons of dates to needy people in Benaadir, Somalia, from which 122,500 people benefited. The project was opened in cooperation with the regional mission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Somalia, and in the presence of Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of Somalia Khadija Diriye; Minister of Information of Somalia Osman Abukar Dubbe; a number of Somali government officials; and a team from the Center. The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince for the support and assistance they provide to the Somali people, pointing out that this aid will be provided to beneficiaries in coordination with KSrelief. For his part, Somali Minister of Information praised the aid being provided by KSrelief to his country. This aid comes within the Saudi aid being provided, through KSrelief, for peoples and countries in need worldwide.
