The US Department of Treasury imposed sanctions on two companies and an official linked with the terrorist Hizballah. In a statement issued by the US Department of Treasury today, Lebanon-based Arch and Meamar companies were sanctioned for being owned, controlled, or directed by Hizballah. The sanctions also include Sultan Khalifah As'ad, a Hizballah Executive Council official, who is closely associated with both companies.
