The Communication and Financial Knowledge Center (CFKC) (a Ministry of Finance initiative) will hold tonight, Wednesday August 26, 2020, a webinar entitled "B20 Saudi Arabia- Objectives and Role" with the participation of: Yousef Al-Benyan (Chair of B20 Saudi Arabia), Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Sadoun (Sherpa of B20 Saudi Arabia), Rayan Fayez (Finance and Infrastructure Taskforce Chair, B20 Saudi Arabia), Rania Nashar (Women in Business Action Council Chair, B20 Saudi Arabia). The webinar will be moderated by the media Consultant, Mahmoud Alshanqiti, in the presence of a number of financial officials in public and private sectors, in addition to academics and representatives of the specialized agencies and media. The webinar will discuss three main themes: the first is to introduce B20 in terms of its origins and objectives; the second deals with the strategy and activities of B20 during the Kingdom's presidency of the G20; the third theme focuses on the post-2020 phase vision, as well as the sustainability of the Saudi business sector's participation in shaping the international agenda. The webinar comes within the framework of the CFKC's efforts to enrich cultural and financial knowledge, exchange views and discussions, contribute to raising awareness about current issues, and highlight the Kingdom's international presence and its success with the G20 presidency in supporting the global economy during this exceptional period. The CFKC also holds several meetings and seminars with the participation of decision-makers and specialists in public and private sectors, and carries out other activities, including: "Knowledge gathering" sessions, and the issuance of daily media reports to follow up the developments of COVID-19.
