Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Continues Supporting Brotherly and Friendly Countries in Calamities, Plights, Tragedies
Published in Saudi Press Agency on 14 - 08 - 2020

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional, and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continue supporting brotherly and friendly countries around the world and standing by them in their calamities, misfortunes, plights and tragedies and so it didn't wait long to support the brotherly people of Lebanon following Beirut Port's explosion.
The paper cited the Kingdom's aid airlift dispatched to the Lebanese people so as to alleviate their suffering, pains and calamity due to this tragedy.
Moreover, Al-Riyadh also pointed out to the Kingdom's beneficent hands of giving when it called for hosting a meeting in Riyadh for "Friends of Sudan" Group to work for the success of the transitional phase that this brother Arab country is going through.
It added that as of its pivotal and leading role on Arab-Islamic arena, the Kingdom hosted this meeting to fulfill the legitimate aspirations of the Sudanese people to live in sustainable peace, as well as to achieve prosperity and justice all over Sudan.
The paper indicated that the Kingdom allocated $ 10 million at Sudan Partners Conference which witnessed a prominent global participation of 25 countries and organizations, including the United States of America, Britain and France.
Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the stability of the world is not based on courtesies, or political betting, especially if it comes to threatening peace and security internationally and regionally.
It added that the Iranian regime threatens the safety and stability of the region and the world, rather, interests are safeguarded in their global concept and according to accurate calculations in which there is no room for evasiveness by rogue states, as is the case with the Iranian model that threatens the safety and stability of the region and the world by a ballistic missile program of which the international community is aware of its danger.
The paper also cited Iranian regime's supplying arms for its terrorist militias' proxies in Lebanon and Yemen through Iraq and Syria to geographical explosive points in Africa, which requires tightening and extending the embargo on Iranian armaments.
