A press briefing will be held at 7:30 p.m. today, Friday, at the headquarters of Makkah-based Media Center of Operations Room for this year's Hajj Season 1441 AH (2020). Participants in the briefing include Assistant Minister of health and official spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aali; Undersecretary of Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj affairs, Dr. Hassan Al-Sharif and Security Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant Colonel Talal Al-Shalhoub. The briefing will focus on pilgrims' health condition, the readiness of health services, preventive measures in the fight against of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in this year's Hajj 1441 AH (2020), the most prominent features of the executive plan for this year's Hajj season 1441 AH (2020), the course of throwing pebbles (Jamarat Al-Aqabah), some Hajj rituals, the results of plans for pilgrims' ascending Arafat, security updates and efforts made for the success of the security plans.
