King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran ranked 10th globally in petroleum engineering for 2020, according to the QS World University Rankings 2020, which is one of the most popular university ranking programs and one of the most followed in the world. Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KFUPM said that the University's achievement shows that it has already become among the leading international universities in this field. He added that this achievement is an evidence of the efficiency of academic and research performance, as the university strives to increase the quality of its outputs and continue the commitment to excellence that it has been keen on throughout the years. He also said that this achievement is an incentive for further development and conforming to international standards in the educational process, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for their support for all Saudi universities.
