Under the chairmanship of Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the COVID-19 Follow-up Committee held its 90th meeting today, in the presence of the members of the Committee representing a number of the relevant governmental entities. During the meeting, all relevant COVID-19 updates and reports were reviewed. Following the meeting, Assistant Minister of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali, who is also spokesperson of the Health Ministry, said that 2509 new COVID-19 cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the new cases were reported in many cities and governorates in the Kingdom. He pointed out that the total cases tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kingdom reached 59854 cases, including 27891 active cases and 251 critical cases. He also pointed out that the cases confirmed today represent 65% for non-Saudis and 35% for Saudi nationals. The number of the new recoveries is 2886, bringing the total number of recoverees to 31643, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that the number of the new deaths is 9, bringing the total death toll to 329.
