Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the world is suffering due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus pandemic and all government agencies have intensified efforts to combat it, meanwhile, the Saudi government did not neglect the Saudi economy but supported it to address the consequences of the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. The paper added that since the Saudi government is keen to secure the future of the private sector, the private sector had an exceptional support from the government represented in different initiatives and financial support that worth around SR 120 billion. Al-Bilad and Al-Yaum newspapers said in their editorials that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has placed the human safety as a top priority, and Saudi Arabia continues to take all precautionary measures to confront this pandemic, limit its effects, and protect the people from it. The newspapers added that the individual and collective awareness, and strictly adhering to the instructions and guidelines provided by government agencies is a must to overcome this crisis.
