The committee concerned with following up the status of the novel coronavirus held here this morning its sixteenth meeting headed by Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, and attended by members of the committee who represent their relevant government sectors, where they reviewed all reports and developments on the virus. During the meeting, members of the committee reviewed the positive impact of the initiative to disclose the presence in Iran and its active contribution to maintaining the health and safety of families of those infected with the virus and those who are in contact with them, as this initiative provides efforts to limit the spread of the virus. The members of the committee emphasized the continuation of the application of preventive measures that are taken either in the outlets or inside the health facilities and to reinforce and follow them to take the necessary measures in accordance with the situation and daily monitoring data, whether for global, regional or local hazards. The members of the committee also discussed the importance of the commitment of all members of the community to follow educational advice and guidelines to deal with the novel coronavirus, and contact 937 for inquiries and consultations related to the virus.
