The Tunisian Ministry of Health signed contracts related to consulting services for three hospitals, as part of implementing agreements to establish and equip these hospitals, funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), through the Saudi Fund for Development, in the presence of Ambassador of the Kingdom to Tunisia Mohammad bin Mahmoud Al-Ali and Head of the Saudi Fund for Development delegation, currently visiting Tunisia Mohammad bin Ad'han al-Shammari. The contracts co-signed by the Tunisian Acting Minister of Health Saniyah Balsheikh and representatives of the two Saudi consultancy offices. A grant directed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to establish and equip King Salman bin Abdulaziz University Hospital, in Qairaouan, at a total cost amounts to $85 million, and a loan from the Saudi Fund for Development allocated for the establishment and equipping of two hospitals, in the cities of El-Jem and Sibiba, at a total cost of $40 million, are funding the implementation.
