Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said that a senior UN official has recently pressed that Houthi rebels have blocked delivery of half of the United Nations' aid programs to Yemen. The paper said that the senior UN official described it as a tactic for the Houthi to force the UN agency to give them greater control over the massive humanitarian campaign. Al-Bilad newspaper said that, for many decades, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been investing its oil wealth in comprehensive civil development throughout the country, and adhered to its wise economic policy that considers oil a strategic commodity on which the world economy is based and the most important element in its stability. The paper added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ensures and maintains the global supplies and market balance in the interests of both producing and consuming countries.
