Dr. Manzalawi Meets with Vice President of National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces

Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Manzalawi met here yesterday with Vice President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Dima Moussa.
During the meeting, they discussed the humanitarian situation in Syria, especially in the city of Idlib, and the latest developments in the political process to put an end to the conflict and alleviate the prolonged suffering of the Syrian people.
Dima Moussa expressed her appreciation for the unremitting support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and for the aid being provided as well by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in the fields of health, food, refugees, education and others for the Syrian people.
She also appreciated the efforts being exerted by Saudi Arabia to reach a political solution that ends the Syrian crisis in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions and ensures accountability for the perpetrators of such crimes against the Syrian people.
For his part, Dr. Khaled Manzalawi stressed Saudi Arabia's firm stance towards the Syrian cause, which is urging the Syrian regime to abide by international laws and treaties, provide protection for the Syrian people and support them for their legitimate rights and demands. He expressed the Kingdom's condemnation of the recent escalation by the Syrian authorities in Idlib, foreign interference in Syrian affairs and Turkish military operations in northern Syria.
