Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh received here today President of the High Council for Islamic Affairs in Chad Dr. Mahamat Khatir Issa and the accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Kingdom.
Minister Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh briefed the delegation on the efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in disseminating Islamic call according to the moderation approach and rejecting extremism, in addition to the Ministry's quality programs that serve Islamic works.
For his part, Dr. Issa said that he is looking forward to strengthening bilateral cooperation to spread the values and tolerance of Islam, serve the Islamic call, and confront all forms of extremism and terrorism that threaten Islamic societies.
He commended the pioneering role that the Kingdom is playing under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to serve Islam and Muslims, and care for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
He also praised the Kingdom's facilitations and services being provided for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.
