The General Authority for Statistics participated with a delegation headed by Dr. Fahd Al-Takhaifi, in the fifth meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Comparison Program for Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), which has been held on Friday, at the headquarters of the World Bank, in Washington DC. The agenda of the Fifth Program Board included discussing a number of topics, the most important of which are: (The World Bank Report on the International Comparison Program 2017 session, which will be presented at the meetings of the fifty-first session of the United Nations Statistical Committee to be held in March 2020, in addition to the report of the fourth meeting of the technical advisory group for the program, which was held from 28 to 29 October 2019 at the World Bank headquarters, in Washington, D.C., and the data access policy and archiving policy for the program were maintained in a manner that maintains privacy and confidentiality, by identifying the goals, guidelines and procedures for how to make data accessible, as well as matters associated with it, as well as the formal application to access data. The meeting concluded with a discussion of the program to revise the results, by knowing the requirements for revising the previously published results of the program, the timing of the revisions and steps to be taken to inform users of these revisions.
