US Stocks Markets Close Higher

US stock markets closed up today after the Federal Reserve kept interest rates stable.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 28.69 points, or 0.1 percent, to 27,910.41 points. The S&P 500 index increased by 9.05 points, or 0.29 percent, to 3,141.57 points, and the Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 37.87 points, or 0.44 percent, to 8,654.05 points.
