The organizing committee of the Saudi Media Forum announced that more than 1000 media professionals and experts from 32 countries from inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will attend the forum, as it is the largest media event of its kind in the region, which will be held on 2-3/12/2019. The President of the Forum Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi said that the large participation of different countries reflects the great interest of the media to follow everything that happens in the Kingdom and monitors the positive developments and vision from within, pointing out that the Forum, which will be held under the umbrella of the Saudi Journalists Association, received many requests from international media outlets to attend and participate in the Forum. He also pointed out that the Forum, which is being held in Riyadh for the first time, will discuss a number of important axes to be presented to experts and specialists, including the reality and future of the media industry and its role in shaping public opinion and its impact on societies. The Forum will shed light on the digital transformation in media institutions, the future of the television industry in the era of on-demand viewing and cross-border media campaigns.
