Saudi Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met here yesterday with the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee Marta Grande and President of the Human Rights Committee of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Iolanda Di Stasio. At the outset of the meeting, the Supervisor General highlighted the importance of strong relations and long-standing historical ties between the two countries. He also stressed the Kingdom's roles in preserving human rights, empowering women and creating opportunities for youth within the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Dr. Al Rabeeah highlighted the Kingdom's endeavor to achieve a political solution in Yemen based on the three references, namely the Gulf Initiative, its executive mechanism, and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, particularly resolution 2216, stressing the Kingdom's keenness on the interest of the Yemeni people, its security and stability. The two sides discussed the possibility of cooperation in various fields, especially in the humanitarian field.
