The Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment (CAMRE) kicked off its 56th session here today at the headquarters of the Arab League, under the chair of Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli. The Executive Office reviews reports and draft resolutions submitted by the 21st session of the Technical Committee of the Environment held over the last three days, as well as the draft agenda of the 31st session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Environment scheduled to be held on Thursday under the leadership of Libya. During its meeting, the Office follows up the implementation of the resolutions of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summits, especially those related to "Monitoring of Radioactive Pollution" and Integrated Waste Management in the Arab Region.
