Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its in its editorial that the approval of the Cabinet to develop the system of municipal councils for activating their role and its contribution to improving the level of services being provided for beneficiaries along with achieving the aspirations and desires of citizens, has confirmed the keenness of the Government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in developing the municipal councils to ensure that the competencies reach the seats and membership of the councils, so that they have an active role in carrying out the works with high professionalism, due to their important role in the various stages of development. On another context, Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman's recent statements on the Yemeni affairs, which was broadcasted through his account in the (Twitter) has affirmed the Saudi's firm position as confirmed by events and initiatives over the past period. The paper added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has spare no effort in supporting Yemen and its people for building a strong and stable state as stated in Prince Khalid bin Salman's expressive words when he said it is time for all Yemenis along with our supporting for them to stand united against the project of chaos, sedition and destruction being committed by Iran in order to achieve security, stability and prosperity for Yemen and its people .
