Published in Saudi Press Agency on 15 - 09 - 2019

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers said in their editorials that a strong Arab and international reaction will be followed by other reactions to addressing the cowardly terrorist attack that took place yesterday morning on two Saudi Aramco plants in Abqaiq and Khurais. The papers said that it is certainly a Saudi matter as the sinful attack targeted its lands and oil facilities, but it is also whole world concerns as the energy sector is one of the most vital sources of the world economy.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has the ability to defend itself as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud stressed and stated in contact with the Jordanian monarch Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, the papers noted.
Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 has developed several programs to achieve its three pillars, among of them is financial sector development program that aims to achieve advanced financial market, enable financial institutions to support the private sector growth, and strengthen financial planning.
Al-Belad newspaper said in its editorial that in response to the call of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Islamic Countries will be held today to discuss serious challenges facing the Palestinian cause after the Israeli Prime Minister's arrogant statements about his determination to annex land from the occupied West Bank.
