Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi slammed the Qatari media which adopts systematic defamatory rhetoric and seeks to galvanize viewers by posting footages dating back to eight years ago. "These unprofessional media practices debunk the claims that Aljazeera is an independent private TV channel. Aljazeera is a Qatari channel which represents the Government of Qatar", he said. The minister slammed the Qatari regime which seeks through its media arm, Aljazeera, to fuel sectarian strife in the month of Muharram. He said that the Qatari media feeds systematically on divisions and thrives on defaming the GCC, Arab and Islamic countries. "The Qatari media has been trying over the past three decades to undermine Bahrain's national unity and subvert its security and stability but to no avail", he said, paying tribute to conscious-minded Bahrainis for their unity and allegiance to their leadership. "Faced with the failure of its hatemongering and extremist media rhetoric, the regime of Doha find no other option but to speak about democracy, human rights and sovereignty, which are so lamentably lacking in Qatar", he said. He rapped the Qatari regime which lost all wisdom and logic over the past decades and chose to defame the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain and other GCC and Arab countries. He exposed the Doha-run media which sends an internal message to the people of Qatari, claiming the country has not been affected by the isolation resulting from its regional policy, while sending another contradictory message of humiliation to the international community. Meanwhile, the Doha regime maintains the same media rhetoric which incites against Arab countries and peoples and supports extremism and hatred in the Islamic World.
