Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has finally succeeded in calling and bringing the disputed parties in southern Yemen to the dialogue table in the city of Jeddah. The paper added that this step is the best solution to find away out of such crisis, which requires diplomacy, calm and prudence from all parties. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the content of the speech of the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations has reaffirmed that the KSA is continuing to support the Palestinian people for obtaining their legitimate rights and to establish their independent state on the borders of 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital. The paper noted that such support is full conformity with all the declared international bases that have called for the return of the legitimate rights of Palestinian people based on the Arab Peace Initiative. The paper added that the KSA's speech delieverd before the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People focused on the importance of defending the legitimate rights of the Palestinians, based on international support for the rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination, independence and establishing of their state on their national territory.
