India on Sunday successfully tested a medium- range missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, the United News of India reported. The test-firing of the Agni-II came a week before the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan are due to meet in New Delhi in a bid to ease tension between the two neighbours. Sunday's test of the Agni-II was the third since 1999. The missile has a range of 2,000 kilometers and is capable of carrying a nuclear or conventional payload.
