In his cable addressed to HRH Crown Prince, he said: In my own name and on behalf of princes and ministers the members of the Supreme Hajj Committee, security men, and all personnel of government and private agencies participating in this year's Hajj works, I extend best sincerest congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, wishing you constant good health. I congratulate you on the success achieved in this year's Hajj season 1440 AH under the patronage and directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and your support which enabled the guests of Allah to perform their rituals in all tranquility and safety The strict implementation of security, preventive, organizational and traffic plans, and pedestrians movement, and integration between government agencies have played an active role in the success and distinction of this season, and Makkah Road Initiative launched three seasons ago also has played a role in facilitating the arrival of pilgrims. 2,489,406 pilgrims completed their arrival in Arafat, then Nafrah, Muzdalifah and Mina holy sites according to strict organization and smooth streamlining, threw pebbles, flocked to the Grand Holy Mosque to perform tawaf Al-Ifadah (circumambulation) and completed Hajj rituals easily and comfortably, according to set plans with all discipline and control of their situations and movements. No incidents affecting the security of pilgrims or disturbing their Hajj were recorded. Health conditions were reassuring, and did not witness the emergence of any epidemic cases, in addition to providing all services and facilities needed by pilgrims and the provision of consumer goods, food, and other public services, which have been monitored by service parties to ensure their continuation. I pray to Allah Almighty to preserve our country and sustain the blessing of security, stability and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and your directives.
