The extraordinary expanded meeting of the Executive Committee at the level of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held at the headquarters of OIC in Jeddah today to discuss the Israeli violations in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf. Addressing the opening session, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen thanked the host country, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince to facilitate holding this meeting at this critical time. The Secretary General of OIC said that "the meeting comes in light of the escalation of Israeli policies aimed at Judaizing Al-Quds city, concealing its monuments, attempting to change its legal, historical and political status and isolating it from its Palestinian surroundings, citing the repeated Israeli attacks targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque including the closure of its gates". -- More 19:10 LOCAL TIME 16:10 GMT 0023 www.spa.gov.sa/1947912
