Saudi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark and the Republic of Lithuania Fahd bin Mayouf Al-Ruwaili participated in the inauguration ceremony of President Gitanas Nauseda of the Republic of Lithuania, which has been held here on Friday. Al-Ruwaili conveyed to president Nauseda the congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and their wishes for success and prosperity for the Republic of Lithuania. For his part, President Nauseda expressed thanks and appreciation of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their congratulations, looking forward to further strengthening relations between the two countries, for the common interest of their friendly peoples. Later, Al-Ruwaili took part in a reception party organized by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to welcome ambassadors participating in the inauguration ceremony of President Nauseda. During the reception, he met with Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevicius and Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Neris Germanas. They discussed a number of issues pertaining to strengthening bilateral cooperation frameworks, in various fields.
