GEA extends registration date for "GEA Challenges" till end of July

The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) announced the extension of the date of receiving applications to participate in "GEA Challenges", a new national program which aims to discover, develop and enable the best young Saudi talents to reach world-class levels, till the end of July.
GEA stated that the high turnout of youth applying to participate in the program in all its 20 categories urged it to enable young talents to access the best training opportunities to develop the winners' talents.
The SR20 million program aims to discover national talents in various fields of entertainment and to have a broad scope that would ensure the development of talents all across the Kingdom. It also aims to encourage all segments of the society to take part in local entertainment content that matches the Kingdom's image and culture.
The 20 entertainment challenges cover several fields, including events' coverage, Saudi cartoon, music, song, cookery, graffiti, song, entertainment applications, acting, short films and documentaries, adventure shows, E-drawing, mobile games, motors, Saudi comics, circus, Stand-up comedy, comic writing, costumes and special effects makeup.
