Saudi HRH Crown Prince Meets Japanese Prime Minister

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia met here today with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
At the outset of the meeting, the Japanese Prime Minister welcomed HRH Crown Prince and thanked him for his participation in G20 Summit leaders in Osaka and his contribution to its success.
The Japanese Prime Minister praised the Kingdom's progress in accordance with the Kingdom's vision 2030, pointing to the keenness of the Government of Japan and its readiness through public and private sectors to make further efforts and cooperation with the Kingdom.
He expressed his government's readiness to cooperate for the success of the next G-20 summit to be hosted by the Kingdom.
HRH Crown Prince thanked the Prime Minister for the warm reception, stressing that relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan are historical, and Japan is a country dear to the hearts of all Saudis.
HRH Crown Prince said that everyone is happy with the progress achieved in the past few years in bilateral cooperation fields between the two countries.
He thanked the Japanese Prime Minister for his successful administration of the summit saying "We will work together to prepare for the G20 Summit 2020 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia".
Then, they discussed prospects for cooperation between the two friendly countries in accordance with the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030, especially in economic, trade, investment and cultural fields, means of enhancing bilateral relations and latest developments in the region
The meeting was attended by Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet's Member Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Economy and Planning Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor to the Royal Court, Supervisor General of Defense Minister's Office Fahd Al-Issa, Secretary to HRH Crown Prince Dr. Bandar Al-Rasheed and Saudi Ambassador to Japan Naif Alfahadi.
The meeting was also attended by a number of Japanese ministers and senior officials.
