The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, offered best wishes and warm congratulations to the Member States on Eid Al-Fitr 1440H, asking Allah to pour his blessings and grace on Muslims all around the world. He offered his most heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and to the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on this joyous occasion. I pray for peace, welfare and security to prevail all over the world, including our region, the Secretary General said, calling for violence, extremism, hate, terror and terrifying of innocent people to be rooted out. The call was also for Eid Al-Fitr to be an opportunity to start a new chapter, settling all disputes, discords and wars tearing some parts of our Muslim world asunder.
