Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspapers in its editorial wrote that the Kingdom is facing a real war; a war of ideas and visions and the promotion of the values of work, in which victory would mean creating a different model in the region and spreading a new situation based on the criteria of modernization, human development, and economic and social well-being. The paper added that the Kingdom is engaged in this battle, which is far greater than the battles of tanks and cannons, and the most dangerous in the long run, but recognizes that its political and economic status, its historical and religious value, carries this great responsibility; to awaken a great nation that has been in a deep sleep for a while. Okaz newspaper commented on the Iranian issue by saying: The banning of refining Iranian oil exports began and came into effect, by ending the exemptions that were granted to oil importers from Tehran, such as China, India, Turkey and South Korea. With this action, the "Mullahs' Government" will face strict US sanctions, pointing out that during the past six months, we saw the consequences of sanctions on Iran through the economic crisis.
