Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Chairs Cabinet's Session

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday afternoon.
At the outset of the session, the King briefed the Cabinet on the contents of written messages sent to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Ismail Omar Guelleh of the Republic of Djibouti, and President Mohamed Abdullah Farmajo of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the results of his meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander in Chief of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, during which they reviewed deep-rooted brotherly relations between the two sisterly countries and latest developments in the region.
The King also briefed the Cabinet on the results of his talks with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Adil Abdul-Mahdi, during which they discussed ways of enhancing and developing bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two countries and their peoples, and the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding in various fields within the framework of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council.
The Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session that the Cabinet praised the visit and talks between the two countries, their keenness on historical, religious and social relations between them, and the importance of investing this political, historical and religious heritage and promoting relations in line with the directives of the leaderships of the two countries.
The Cabinet renewed the Kingdom's welcome of hosting of the 15th Session of the Meetings of Leaders of the Group of Twenty (G20) in the month of Rabi' II 1442 AH, corresponding to November 2020 in Riyadh, under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and its looking forward to strengthening cooperation with its partners of member countries to achieve the objectives of the Group and to find international consensus on economic issues on the agenda to achieve the stability of the world economy and its prosperity and contribute to reviewing the issues of concern to the Middle East and North Africa.
