Director General of the National Center for Documents and Archives Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi held a press conference at the Conferences hall at the headquarters of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Riyadh today to highlight the Arab Archives Conference scheduled to be held at the intercontinental hotel in Riyadh on Sunday under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud amid local, regional and international attendance. During the press conference, Dr. Al-Tamimi briefed journalists on the objectives of the three-day Arab Archives conference aiming to get acquainted to the best international practices and experiences in the field of archiving and digital recording, exhibit the role of archives in serving the society, link it with the political, social and economic national system, invest the social media to serve Arab archives and societies in the service of information, make them available according to the latest developments and cast light on the Arab archives status quo.
