Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum and Okaz newspapers said in their editorials that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been, throughout its history, a home for peace, a symbol of the responsible state that believes in addressing all issues through dialogue and negotiation, and refuses to be drawn into the logic of war, whatever the reasons might be. The newspapers cited the Kingdom's roles in the peace initiative toward the Arab-Israeli conflict, Palestinian brothers conflict, dispute between Morocco and Algeria, issue of Somalia, differences in the Horn of Africa, and others. The newspapers noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been addressing Iranian ambitions in Yemen through the "Determination Storm" operation. The newspapers cited the last announcement about establishing air war center in the Eastern Region with the latest advanced military technology to meet challenges and surrounding threats. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that every terrorist act happens in this world is an affirmation that terrorism is still deeply rooted. The newspaper stressed the need to study the causes of terrorism by scientists and thinkers and provide us with a coherent conceptual approach, affirming that terrorism has neither religion nor logic.
