Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council, has had a session of official talks with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Egypt Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal Sayed Ahmed. At the outset of the meeting, which took place held here yesterday, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Egypt welcomed the Speaker and members of the Shura Council's delegation, stressing the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields in addition to enhancing the joint parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal pointed out the importance of mutual visits between the two countries, particularly at the parliamentary level, due to their active roles in exchanging experiences and ideas in the vital fields benefiting Egypt and the Kingdom. He also lauded the Egyptian-Saudi relations which, in general, witnessed great progress over the recent period at various levels and in various fields, adding that the relations between the Egyptian House of Representatives and the Shura Council witnessed, in particular, significant boost over the same period. He referred to the recent meeting in Cairo between the parliamentary friendship committees of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives, in addition to the permanent and continuous coordination between the two chambers, citing the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Arab Parliament arenas. The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Egypt also praised the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote the Kingdom's economy, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, to support the Kingdom Vision 2030 and implement its ambitious strategy. --More 18:10 LOCAL TIME 15:10 GMT 0017 www.spa.gov.sa/1857475
