Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that Qatar's withdrawal from OPEC aims to thwart the interests of other GCC countries as its custom in fabrication of conspiracies. The newspaper added that OPEC has faced attempts to thwart its roles, but it has succeeded in achieving its most important goals and restoring balance and stability to the global oil market. Okaz newspaper commented in its editorial on the American Time magazine's selection of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense within the list of Person of the Year 2018 , saying that HRH Crown Prince has attracted the world's attention in a short period of time as a leading figure reflecting the future vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards further development and openness.
